Technical support
Some peoples’ idea of help and guidance is a fancy
website, remote call centre or a
manual in a foreign language. Our technical support isn’t.
We have experience in working with clients to find solutions
before many problems
develop. We can offer advice on the suitability of products for
every environment and we
always aim to provide you with an answer to your query the same
day. We are available
to visit you, or on-site to discuss your requirements and can
supply samples of
products within 24 hours.
Care & Maintenance
Laminate products do not easily scratch or chip and will withstand normal wear and tear, but should never be used to cut upon.
Laminate will withstand surface temperatures of up to 180ºC for short periods without deterioration of surface or colour but continuous localised heat must be avoided. It is not recommended that hot pans be placed directly onto a laminate surface.
Laminate surfaces are best kept
clean using a soft, damp cloth with a mild detergent. Nonscratch
cleaners such as Cif, Flash or Ajax are recommended for more
stubborn stains. Do
not use acids or alkalis cleaners. Ink marks may be removed with
a suitable solvent, ie.
methylated spirits or acetone. Organic solvents such as as white
spirit and cellulose can be
used to remove paint and graffiti. Furniture polish should not
be used. Due to the nature
of the surface, deep textured finishes are more difficult to
clean than smooth surfaces. For
stubborn marks use a nylon bristle in conjunction with the above
cleaners.
